Robert "Bob" Tmur is a founding member and the Chief Executive Officer of XCEL JET, overseeing all company operations and leading both aircraft acquisitions and treasury functions.

With over 35 years of experience in financial and operational management, Bob has deep expertise in accounting programs, financial strategy, tax planning, risk management, and investment strategies. He began his career at Deloitte, subsequently holding various senior financial management roles.

Bob is a certified Multi-Engine and Single Engine Airline Transport (ATP) Rated Pilot, with more than 5,500 hours of flight time. He holds an active ATP certificate and regularly meets the requirements to maintain his type rating for the LR45 series. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from California State University, Northridge.

Scott Howard, a founding member and the Chief Operating Officer of XCEL JET, expertly manages daily operations and general company management. He also serves as the chief pilot and captain, where he is pivotal in shaping all flight policies and procedures.

An accomplished pilot, Scott brings over 12,000 hours of flying experience both domestically and internationally. He possesses a deep understanding of aircraft systems and Part 135 flight and ground instruction. Scott holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, along with CFI, CFII, and MEI certifications, and maintains current proficiency in the LR45 series.

With a personal focus on excellent customer service and innovation, Scott brings a comprehensive understanding of aviation to XCEL JET, having served as chief pilot, Citation captain, and management services lead for multiple companies. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona.

Marcus Tmur serves as the Chief Financial Officer of XCEL JET, bringing extensive financial acumen and strategic leadership to the organization. A graduate of Chapman University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and an emphasis in Finance, Marcus combines a strong academic foundation with hands-on experience in finance and aviation operations.

Since joining XCEL JET in 2018, Marcus has advanced through several key roles, most recently serving as Director of Charter Sales, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company's revenue base and optimizing client relationships. After earning his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation, Marcus stepped into the position of Chief Financial Officer.

In his role as CFO, Marcus combines deep industry knowledge with analytical expertise to support XCEL JET's continued growth and financial strength.

Doug Henderson

30+ Years · FAA Liaison · CAE Master Technician — Learjet 40/45

Doug Henderson manages the daily operations of maintenance compliance at XCEL JET, overseeing inspection activities and serving as the primary liaison with FAA inspectors. He is responsible for certifying the proper documentation and return to service of aircraft after maintenance, safeguarding the fleet's safety with his exceptional skills, dedication, and dependability.

With a robust career spanning over 30 years, Doug has gained extensive experience in aviation maintenance. His roles have included A&P Mechanic and Supervisor, Maintenance General Supervisor, Chief Inspector, and Accountable Manager, before ascending to his current position as Director of Maintenance.

Doug's specialized training includes Texas Aero Tech, CFM 56 engines, McDonald Douglas DC-8 systems, Boeing 727/737 systems and rigging, Piaggio factory training, PT6 engines, Simuflight for Cessna 560, Flight Safety maintenance for Gulfstream 200/V, and GMM/document training for Part 135 operators. He has completed the CAE Master Aircraft Technician Award Program, specializing in Learjet 40/45 aircraft.
